The Boston Women's Heritage Trail (event video)

This presentation by Ferna Phillips, a Board Member of the Boston Women’s Heritage Trail was provided to celebrate Women’s History Month 2025. In 1989, a group of Boston Public School teachers and students decide to highlight the overlooked contributions of women to Boston’s history. Modeled after the Freedom Trail and Black Heritage Trail, the BWHT celebrates the past accomplishments of remarkable women in Boston, claiming their rightful place in our City’s history through education, reflection, and an interactive city-wide monument.

This event was held on March 15, 20245 at 11:00 a.m at the Jamaica Plain Branch Library (and via Zoom).
